MEET YOUR GUIDE
When you write to Wise Transylvania, I’m the one who answers — and the one behind the wheel.
I’m Adrian. I grew up in Transylvania, studied Tourism and Business Administration, and worked as a Tourism Officer at Râșnov Town Hall — looking after Râșnov Fortress, where I first started showing visitors around. In 2016 I became a licensed national guide and set out on my own: private tours, my own Mercedes V-Class, thousands of travellers, one group at a time. No agency sits between us. You get the same person from your first message to the last photo I send you.
HOW IT WORKS
Three steps. No planning fees. No obligation.
01
Tell me your dates and what you like
A two-minute message, or just WhatsApp me. Castles, mountains, food, quiet — whatever pulls you here.
02
We shape the trip together
I reply personally within 24 hours, and we adjust until it fits you — not a schedule taped to a bus window.
03
Your itinerary, your exact price
A personal plan built around you, with an exact price — no deposit, nothing to pay up front. You pay at the end of your trip, only once you’re happy with every day.

The Transfăgărășan & Făgăraș
Romania’s most spectacular mountain road, the quiet ruins of CârÈ›a Abbey, and the great fortress of FăgăraÈ™ below the peaks.

Unbeatable Experience!
Adrian is very knowledgeable, clearly has a passion for his country’s history and is so engaging. He was flexible with my planning and requests, and had plenty of suggestions for places to visit, extra activities and wonderful food. I visited SighiÈ™oara on my own, so Adrian willingly picked me up there and crafted a wonderful day visiting Prejmer, Biertan and Viscri. Adrian taught me so much — who knew lard and storage units could be so interesting! One of my most memorable trips and the best tour guide I’ve ever had.
Truly VIP experience — private tour, skipped all lines, stunning castles and an exceptional guide
This was hands down one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. From start to finish, our guide made this day absolutely unforgettable and truly special — it felt like a private VIP experience rather than a typical tour. We traveled through the Carpathian Mountains, which alone would have made the day worth it; the scenery was stunning, and hearing the history and local stories as we drove added so much depth. We visited Bran Castle, Corvin Castle, and the beautiful city of Sibiu with its famous “houses with eyes.” At every major site we skipped the lines entirely — no waiting, no crowds. Along the way we stopped near Corvin Castle to try a delicious Romanian pastry, one of those authentic experiences you’d never find on your own. What truly made this exceptional was our guide himself — warm, engaging and genuinely kind. He didn’t feel like a tour guide at all, but a friend I’d known for years. We were treated to an amazing lunch at his family’s restaurant, and travel was extremely comfortable in a spacious Mercedes V-Class. If you’re considering a day trip in Romania, do not hesitate — it’s not just sightseeing, it’s an immersive, personal experience with someone who truly loves his country and treats you like family.
3 days of fun and adventure
Having travelled both sides of Europe with many different guides, I can sincerely say that Adrian is the most professional and knowledgeable guide we have ever had. From the first meeting, where he was totally approachable and punctual, to the hidden-away places he showed us, Adrian made us feel like part of his family — something we had not experienced before. We travelled from castles to mountains and into salt mines, and the food was out of this world. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending both the tours and the man as someone to take you on an unbelievable adventure.
